Luscious Diet Apricot Bars Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Soak apricots in warm water for 10 min or possibly till fruit is tender.
  3. Drain well and set aside.
  4. Cream together margairne and Sugar Twin till smooth.
  5. Beat brown sugar substitute and Large eggs in large mixing bowl, add in vanilla.
  6. Combine with butter mix.
  7. In spearate bowl, sift togethe flour, baking pwdr and salt.
  8. Combine with butter mix till smooth.
  9. Fold in apricots and bran buds.
  10. Pour mix into 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 x 2 inch greased pan.
  11. Bake for 30 to 40 min or possibly till done.
  12. Yield: 36 bars.
  13. Exchanges: 1 bar equals 1/2 bread, 1 fat, and 1/2 fruit exchange.
  14. Calories: 101 calories per bar.
