Gooey, Cheesy Macaroni au Gratin

  1. Boil the macaroni.
  2. Thinly slice the onions.
  3. Cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks.
  4. Cut the bacon into 2 cm pieces.
  5. Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken.
  6. Add the onions and bacon and saute.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Add the macaroni and saute to combine.
  9. Make the white sauce in a separate pot.
  10. Add 1 teaspoon of the soup stock granules and season with salt and pepper.
  11. Grease the baking dish with butter and fill with Step 2.
  12. Top with half of the white sauce and mix it all together.
  13. Top with the remaining sauce.
  14. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake in an oven at 230C for 10-15 minutes until browned.
  15. Once baked, garnish with parsley.

  18. Increase the amount of macaroni if you like.
