Quick Beef Stroganoff
- 1 Tbsp. non-hydrogenated margarine
- 1 boneless beef round steak (2 lb./900 g), cut into thin strips
- 2 onions, sliced King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 440 g fettuccine, uncooked
- 1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) condensed cream of celery soup
- 1/2 cup Miracle Whip Original Spread
- 2 tsp. LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- Melt margarine in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add meat; cook and stir 2 to 3 min.
- or until evenly browned.
- Stir in onions and water; cover.
- Simmer 30 min., stirring occasionally and adding more water if needed.
- Add green peppers and mushrooms; stir.
- Simmer, covered, 10 min., stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Mix soup, Miracle Whip, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
- Add to meat mixture in skillet; cook 2 to 3 min.
- or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Drain pasta.
- Add to meat mixture; stir to evenly coat.
