Down home crispy chicken strips
- 2 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
- 4 cup peanut oil
- 2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp Seasoning salt
- Slice your chicken breasts length wise.
- You should get about ten strips per piece.
- In one bowl add the heavy cream.
- In a second larger bowl add the flour, panko bread crumbs and seasoning salt.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Put the chicken in the heavy cream and let it sit for a bit.
- Anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes.
- Next take the chicken from the heavy cream and place into the flour mixture coating it completely.
- Repeat process until all the chicken is breaded.
- Carefully place chicken in the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown.
- Should only take a few minutes.
