Chicken And Stuffing Strata Recipe
- 1/2 (8 ounce.) pkg. herb stuffing (2 c.)
- 1 1/2 c. minced, cooked chicken
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 1 med. onion, minced (1/2 c.)
- 3 Large eggs
- 2 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 ounce. (1/2 c.) Swiss or possibly Mozzarella, shredded
- Sprinkle 1 c. stuffing in a buttered 8x8x2 inch pan.
- Sprinkle chicken, celery and onion.
- Top with remaining stuffing.
- Beat Large eggs slightly in medium bowl.
- Stir in lowfat milk and salt.
- Pour over stuffing and sprinkle with cheese.
- Chill 1 hour or possibly overnight.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min or possibly till puffy and golden brown.
- Remove to wire rack.
- Let stand 10 min.
- M-m-m good!
- 6-8 servings.
