Crusty Peach Cobbler Recipe

  1. Cobbler: Place peaches in greased 1 1/2 qt casserole.
  2. Sprinkle with mix of sugar and flour, then lemon juice; dot with butter.
  3. Shortcake: Sift together dry ingredients.
  4. Cut in shortening till like coarse crumbs.
  5. Combine egg and lowfat milk.
  6. Add in, stirring only till moistened.
  7. Drop in 6 mounds over peaches.
  8. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 min.
  9. Serves 6.
