Classic Cole Slaw

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, mayonnaise, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, onion, and mustard.
  2. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add the green and red cabbages and carrot, and mix well to combine.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate to marinate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  6. Adjust for seasoning with salt and pepper before serving.
