California Carrots Recipe

  1. Parboil carrots.
  2. Drain.
  3. Fry onion and hgarlic glove in butter.
  4. When yellow, remove the garlic and throw away.
  5. Add in onion and butter to the flour.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Add in consomme and wine.
  8. Season to taste.
  9. Add in carrots and let simmer till tender.
  10. Add in a little consomme if sauce becomes too thick.
  11. Starch
