Fruit & Chocolate Dream Bars
- 1 14 cups flour
- 12 cup sugar
- 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine
- 23 cup flour
- 12 cup chopped pecans
- 13 cup brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine, softened
- 12 cup raspberry jam
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- For Crust: Combine flour and sugar in medium bowl.
- Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press onto bottom of greased 9 inch square baking pan.
- Bake in preheated 375F oven for 18-22 minutes or until set but not brown.
- For Topping: Combine flour, pecans and brown sugar in same bowl.
- Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Spread jam over hot crust.
- Sprinkle with topping and chocolate chips.
- Bake at 375F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
- Cut into bars.
