Homemade Pizza
- 1 pizza dough crust (homemade or store bought), mine is handmade
- 2 cups cubed boneless cooked chicken breasts, or as needed
- 1/2-1 red onion, sliced in strips
- 3/4-1 cup fresh spinach leaves whole or chopped
- 1 handful sundried tomatoes, or as needed
- 3/8 cup fresh feta cheese, or as needed
- 2 cups FRESH mozzarella cheese (shredded or thin circle slices to cover all around)
- as needed pizza marinara sauce (homemade or store bought)
- 2 dash italian/pizza seasonings/herbs
- 2-3 cloves garlic cloves minced or garlic powder sprinkled
- as needed olive oil
- Preheat oven to 400-425F.
- Heat olive oil in large skillet on medium to medium-high heat.
- When oil is hot, add chicken, Italian seasonings, then garlic.
- Cook until chicken is done and set aside.
- Spoon pizza sauce onto dough crust and spread to desired thickness.
- Sprinkle some pizza seasonings.
- Cut tomatoes into small pieces.Distribute chicken evenly on dough, and then cover chicken and dough with mozzarella cheese.
- Add spinach, onion, tomatoes, and feta cheese, and more mozzarella.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until desired crust crisp is reached.
- Tip, If you rather have cooked spinach and not raw fresh leaves....you can add spinach to some water, or broth cover and cook until it wilts, then drain.
