Apple Crisp II(Low-Cal)
- 4 cups apples peeled, cored,sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 3/4 cups rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons nuts chopped
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon
- Substitute peaches or pears when they are in season.
- Place apples in a microwave baking pan and sprinkle with lemon juice.
- In a small bowl, melt butter at High for 30 to 45 sec.
- Stir in rolled oats, brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon.
- Combine well.
- Sprinkle evenly over apples.
- Microwave at High for 8 to 10 min.
- Allow 5 to 7 min after cooking time.
- 8 Servings each 1/2 cup 1 fruit choice, 1 fat choice 10 g carbohydrate, 1 g protein, 5 g fat, 89 calories
