Sesame brown rice
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame
- 2 cup rice
- 1/2 sweet onion chopped
- 1 cup soy sauce (or more if needed)
- I never measure so I don't know how much water to rice I use.
- in a pot boil water, add 1 tblspn sesame oil and chopped onion add rice and cook rice on medium high heat until water starts to run dry, lower heat to medium low.
- Rice is cooked once grains open.
- once rice is cooked, heat your wok on medium high heat, add 1 tblspn sesame oil and add sesame seeds constantly stirring for about 1 minute.
- add rice and soy sauce lower heat to medium low and stir until all rice is blended well
- note: you can add a slightly beaten egg if you care too, I omit the egg since I don't eat eggs.
