Sparkling Dessert
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 pkg (85 g) each Jell-O Sparkling White Grape Jelly Powder
- 1 1/2 cups cold club soda or champagne
- 1 cup sliced strawberries Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- STIR boiling water into jelly powder in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
- Stir in cold club soda.
- Chill about 1 1/2 hours or until slightly thickened.
- MEASURE 1 cup (250 mL) thickened jelly into medium bowl; set aside.
- Stir strawberries into remaining jelly.
- Spoon into champagne glasses or dessert dishes.
- BEAT reserved jelly with electric mixer on high speed until fluffy and about double in volume.
- Spoon over top of jelly in glasses.
- CHILL 3 hours or until firm.
