Simple Tempeh Manis

  1. Finely chop the tempeh.
  2. Fry the tempeh in a frying pan (in 2-3 batches).
  3. Leave 1 tablespoon oil in the pan and add all of the tempeh back into the pan.
  4. Then add the ingredients and mix everything together.
  5. It's ready!
  6. You can add some citrus juice over the top for extra zest.
  7. Have fun with the flavours.
  8. This is kecap manis, a sweet ketchup made with black soy beans.
