Fudge Batter Pudding
- 1 cup all-pupose flour
- 8 tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1-2/3 cup boiling water
- Stir together flour, 3 Tbsp.
- of the cocoa, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- In large bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, butter, and vanilla.
- Stir flourmixture into sugar mixture alternately with milk, blending well after each addition.
- Stir in nuts.
- In 2 qt.
- casserole dish, combine the remaining 1/2 cup sugar, 5 Tbsp.
- cocoa, and boiling water.
- Drop batter by tablespoons onto hot mixture.
- Bake in 350F oven for about 40 minutes, or until top is crusty.
