Sleek and Delicious! Tofu Shiratama with Sweet Beans Paste

  1. Boil hot water in a deep pot.
  2. Knead the shiratamako and tofu together well.
  3. Check how it is and knead until it is as soft as earlobes.
  4. Dice the yokan into bite sizes.
  5. Make the yokan the core and dust it with shiratamako.
  6. Lay the shiratama ball on a tightly wrung out cloth.
  7. Drop into boiling water.
  8. It will float when cooked through.
  9. Chill in cold water then it is done.
  10. I put it in a strong cup of chilled green tea.
