Frosted Cinnamon Rolls
- 2 1/4 c. baking mix
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
- Combine 2 cups baking mix and milk in a bowl.
- Mix well.
- Beat vigorously for 30 seconds, adding enough remaining baking mix to make moderate dough. Knead 10 times on floured surface. Roll into 1/2-inch thick rectangle.
- Spread with butter.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over butter.
- Top with raisins and nuts. Roll as for jelly roll to enclose filling; cut into 1-inch slices. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 450u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Blend confectioners sugar with a small amount of water.
- Drizzle over rolls. Cool for 5 minutes.
- Yields 1 dozen.
