Chicago-Style Steak with Blue Cheese Butter
- 2 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 2 Tbsp. crumbled blue cheese
- 1 Tbsp. finely chopped green onion
- 2 beef T-bone steaks, 3/4-inch-thick (1-1/2 lb.) Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
- 1/4 cup Bull's-Eye Bold Original Barbecue Sauce
- Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat.
- Mix butter, cheese and onion until well blended; cover.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Grill steaks 10 to 12 min.
- for medium-rare doneness (140F) or slightly longer for medium doneness (160F), turning occasionally and brushing with barbecue sauce.
- Remove and discard bones from steaks; carve meat into slices.
- Serve topped with butter mixture.
