Flavored Chikuwa with Cucumber
- 5 stick Chikuwa
- 1 Cucumber
- 2 tsp Bonito dashi stock powder
- 2 tsp Usukuchi soy sauce
- 2 tsp Mirin
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 150 ml Water
- Add the ingredients, bring to a boil, and add the chikuwa.
- Cover with a small lid right on top of the food, and simmer for about 5 minutes over low heat.
- Take out the chikuwa from the pot, and let them cool.
- Cut the cucumber into strips to fit inside the chikuwa.
- Then stuff them inside Refer to Helpful Hints.
- Cut however you like, and they're done.
