Pineapple Ginger Spareribs Recipe
- 4 lbs. spareribs
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (8 1/2 ounce.) can crushed pineapple
- 1/4 c. orange marmalade
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. lemon or possibly lime juice
- 1 tbsp. dry sherry (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon onion pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- Cut ribs apart in service-size pcs and dredge in flour seasoned with salt and pepper.
- Arrange in large shallow baking dish.
- Combine remaining ingredients for sauce; spoon a few Tbsp.
- of sauce over ribs.
- Bake in microwave oven uncovered for about 35 min.
- During this time, turn ribs several times (at about 8 minute intervals).
