lobster mac & cheese
- 2 tbsp veg. oil
- 1 lb noodles
- 1 quart whole milk
- 8 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 4 cup gruyere cheese
- 2 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 lb cooked lobster meat
- 1 1/2 cup fresh white bread crumbs
- preheat the oven to 375
- cook pasta
- heat milk in small saucepan.
- do not boil.
- in large pot melt 6 tablespoons of butter and add flour.
- cook over low heat for2 minutes, stirring constantly with whisk.
- still wisking add the hot milk and cook 1 or 2 minutes until thickened and smooth.
- of heat ed cheeses salt pepper nutmeg stir until cheese melts.
- stir in cooked pasta and lobster.
- pour mixture in pan.
- melt remaining butter, combine with bread crumbs sprinkles on top.
- bake for 30 or 35 minutes until sauce is bubbly and pasta is brown on top
