Mandarin Orange & White Wood Ear Jelly

  1. Remove any tough root pieces from wood ear; discard.
  2. Break wood ear into bite-size pieces.
  3. Bring 2 cups cold water and wood ear to boil in saucepan; cook 2 min.
  4. Drain; cool.
  5. Combine wood ear and oranges; place in 4 dessert glasses.
  6. Add boiling water to jelly powder in medium bowl; stir 2 min.
  7. until completely dissolved.
  8. Add remaining cold water; stir.
  9. Pour over wood ear mixture.
  10. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
  11. Top with Cool Whip just before serving.
