Molasses Spice Cookies
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
- 1/4 cup unsulphured molasses
- 1 Land O Lakes Egg
- 1 (12-ounce) package white baking chips
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
- Heat oven to 375F.
- Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and salt in bowl; set aside.
- Beat sugar and butter in bowl until creamy.
- Add molasses and egg; continue beating until well mixed.
- Add flour mixture; beat at low speed until well mixed.
- Stir in white baking chips.
- Cover; refrigerate 20 minutes or until slightly firm.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in walnuts.
- Place onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let stand 2 minutes on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.
