Pork Belly Wrapped Tofu

  1. If the pork belly slices are too long, cut them so that they're long enough to wrap around a tofu cube.
  2. Wrap the pork slices around each tofu cube.
  3. Season with salt and pepper (not listed) to taste.
  4. Coat thinly with katakuriko.
  5. Put them with the wrapped edges down in a frying pan.
  6. Fry both sides.
  7. Cover with a lid and steam-cook.
  8. When they are cooked through, pour in the mentsyu, flip the pork-wrapped tofu pieces in the sauce to allow the sauce to flavor them, cook down for a bit and it's done!
