Spaghetti Sauce W/Pasta
- 2 lbs jimmy dean hot sausage
- 2 (32 ounce) jarschunky ragu spaghetti sauce (any flavor)
- 1 large yellow onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 (4 ounce) cans diced green chilies
- 12 cup Heinz 57 steak sauce
- 14 cup sweet and hot mustard (or to taste)
- 1 -2 bay leaf
- 2 (4 ounce) cans mushrooms
- salt and pepper
- Brown sausage, onions, and garlic in skillet until sausage is done and onions are soft.
- Drain fat.
- In a large pot, pour in Ragu, sausage mixture, green chilies, 57 sauce, mustard, bay leaves, mushrooms, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir until well mixed and simmer for 2 to 3 hours on low.
- Cook your pasta of choice in plenty of boiling, salted water with a little olive oil added until al dente.
- Drain well.
- Put desired amount of pasta on each plate and ladle on sauce.
- Top with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
- Serve with tossed green salad and garlic bread.
- Note: Remove bay leaves before serving.
