Eh One Candied Canuck Burger

  1. Burgers: Combine ingredients in bowl.
  2. Shape into 1/3-lb.
  3. patties.
  4. Maple Sauce: Combine ingredients in saucepan.
  5. Cook on medium heat until syrupy.
  6. Cool.
  7. For each burger: Grill 1 patty to desired doneness.
  8. Top with 2 tsp.
  9. cheese and 1 tsp.
  10. lemon zest.
  11. Toss 1 scallion with 1 tsp.
  12. oil.
  13. Grill until lightly charred; cut in half.
  14. Lightly grill 2 Canadian bacon slices and 1 tomato slice; brush each slice with 1 tsp.
  15. Maple Sauce.
  16. Spread 2 Tbsp.
  17. mayo on top half of 1 roll.
  18. Place 2 Tbsp.
  19. arugula, 2 scallion halves and 1 tomato slice on bottom half of roll.
  20. Top with prepared burger and 2 Canadian bacon slices.
  21. Cover with top of roll.
