Turkey Vegetable Soup With Noodles Recipe
- 3 turkey wings
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning or possibly sage
- 3 sm. potatoes, peeled & cubed
- 1 can peas
- 1/2 pound egg noodles
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 pound carrots, peeled & sliced
- 1/2 c. flour diluted with 1 c. water
- Bring 2 qts water to a boil with salt and pepper.
- Lower to a simmer to add in wings, sage or possibly seasoning and carrots.
- Cover for 1 hour.
- Stir occasionally.
- Add in potatoes.
- Simmer for another hour while covered.
- Remove wings from broth.
- Peel off skin from wings and throw away the skin.
- Chop the meat and put on the side.
- Add in the flour to the 1 c. of water and stir till dissolved and smooth.
- Add in to broth.
- Simmer over low flame till blended in thoroughly.
- Add in turkey and can of peas to broth.
- Make egg noodles in a separate pot al dente.
- Add in to soup and serve with warm, buttered biscuits.
