Barbecued Spareribs
- 5 pounds pork ribs
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon hickory smoke salt or liquid smoke and salt
- 1/2 cup steak sauce
- 1 teaspoon onions minced
- Preheat oven to 400F (200C).
- Place spareribs on rack in baking pan.
- Brown in a 400F (200C) oven for 15 minutes; turn and brown on other side for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Drain fat and put ribs in crockpot.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs.
- Cover and ccok on low 6 to 8 hours.
- Makes 5 to 6 servings.
