Taisen's vegetarian 5 bean chili

  1. Open all cans of beans.
  2. Drain juices.
  3. Add to crock pot
  4. Add in onion
  5. Add seasonings.
  6. Chili powder , onion powder , taco seasoning.
  7. Mix well .
  8. Red and black pepper if using.
  9. ( as you can see , I add a lot of spice because my family loves chili to be extra spicy ) stir well
  10. Add in the tomatoes and tomato sauce.
  11. Stir .
  12. Set crock pot on high for 4 to 6 hours .
  13. Stir every hour if your crock pot is like mine.
  14. Mine gets over hot so a lot of times I use medium heat longer .
  15. Before serving , shred the block cheese and dice onion as a topping.
  16. If making cornbread do this now or use butter bread.
  17. Serve with butter bread , cornbread or salad .
  18. Enjoy
