Beef Tater Bake Recipe
- 1 pound extra lean grnd beef
- 1 med. onion, sliced
- 1 (16 ounce.) pkg. frzn Tater Tots
- 1 can undiluted golden brown mushroom soup
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Garlic salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Make an even layer of uncooked grnd beef in bottom of 9-inch square baking dish.
- Cover with onion slices.
- Add in 1 layer of frzn Tater Tots, completely covering beef and onions.
- Add in soup, pouring it proportionately over mix.
- Top with grated cheese.
- Bake 1 hour.
- Cut into squares.
- Serves 6.
- A delicious quickie served with tossed green salad and garlic bread.
- NOTE: I mix the garlic salt and pepper into the meat before spreading in pan, and I use medium sharp Cheddar.
