Chocolate, Caramel and Coconut Bars
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 pkg. (269 g) Kraft Caramels
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 3 cups sweetened flaked coconut, toasted
- 1 pkg. (225 g) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray.
- Beat butter and sugar in medium bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
- Blend in vanilla.
- Gradually add flour, mixing well after each addition.
- Press onto bottom of prepared pan.
- Bake 20 to 25 min.
- or until lightly browned.
- Cool 10 min.
- Microwave caramels and milk in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
- ; stir until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended.
- Add coconut; mix well.
- Spread over crust.
- Melt chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over dessert.
- Cool completely.
- Run knife around edges of pan to loosen dessert.
- Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan before cutting into 32 bars.
