Chicken Fricassee With Herb Dumplings Recipe

  1. Blend dry ingredients; coat chicken pcs.
  2. Brown chicken in butter and shortening.
  3. Remove chicken and drain fat.
  4. Mix soup and 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk in same skillet.
  5. Add in chicken; cover and cook on low heat for 45 min or possibly till chicken is tender.
  6. Mix 2 c. Bisquick, 2/3 c. lowfat milk, 1/2 tsp.
  7. parsley flakes and 1/4 tsp.
  8. poultry seasoning into soft dough, drop by spoonfuls onto warm soup mix.
  9. Cook uncovered for 10 min then cover and cook 10 min longer.
  10. Serves 4.
