Homemade Catsup
- 1-1/4 gal. tomato juice
- 1 cup vinegar
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tbsp. allspice
- 2 tbsp. corn starch
- 1 pint onions, cooked and run through sieve
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 tbsp. mustard seed
- Tie spices in cloth to cook with other ingredietns.
- Stir while cooking.
- Cook until it begins to thicken then moisten corn starch with water and add.
- Bring to a good boil again and then seal in bottles or small jars.
