Cheese and pear yoghurt bread. (Use gms measurements )

  1. Place flours in bowl
  2. Add salt and bicarb and mix together
  3. Make a well in flour and add butter and honey, mix well.
  4. Add cheese and pear and mix
  5. Add yoghurt and mix to a dough
  6. When well mixed turn out onto floured surface and knead for one min
  7. Form into a ball with a smooth top and slightly flatten or seperate into 4 and roll into balls and place on baking just touching.
  8. Cut a cross into bread using a wooden spoon handle almost all the way through for even bake
  9. Flour top
  10. Make sure bread has room to expand in oven
  11. Bake for 40 to 45 mins at 200c checking after 30 mins
  12. Check with skewer in centre, if in doubt leave for 45 mins but cover top with foil.
  13. This is a robust loaf and if centre not baked tip upside down and rebake for 5 min untill you get a hollow sound when tapped.
  14. Remove and allow to cool.....butter...enjoy!
