Any Veg Casserole
- 2 to 3 lb. stew meat
- 2 cans (10-3/4 oz. each) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can milk
- 1 env. onion soup mix
- Vegetables (potatos, carrots, celery, onions, anything uncooked is best)
- Place stew meat in bottom of Dutch oven.
- Pour onion soup mix over meat.
- Add the soup do not stir.
- Add milk.
- Cut vegetables into bite size pieces and put on top of rest.
- Cover and let cook in 375 degree oven for about 2 hours.
- If doing over open fire let fire burn down to coals put oven on top of a few and add a few to the top let cook.
- Does take longer on fire so best to start at breakfast for lunch or at lunch for supper, about 4 hours.
