Bombay Pav Bhaji
- 3 medium Potatoes
- 5 medium Tomatoes
- 1 large Green BellPepper
- 2 large Red Onions
- 50 grams Green Peas
- 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
- 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
- 5 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 tbsp Garam Masala you will get this in any spice shop
- 4 Curry Leaves
- 8 Corriender
- 1 medium lemon
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- Finish all chopping boiling and do all the prep work before we start cooking.
- Boil and mash potatoes.
- Also boil green peas.
- Finely Chop Tomatoes, Red Onions and Green Bell Peppers
- Finely Chop Corriender
- Now Lets start cookin.
- In a non stick pot heat 4 tablespoon vegetable oil and add cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- Once the seeds start to crackle add chopped onions.
- Wait for 2 mins and add garlic and ginger paste.
- Wait another 2 mins and add chopped green bell peppers.
- Let it cook for 3 mins and add chopped tomatoes, boiled green peas.
- Add Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala and Salt to taste
- Once the tomatoes become soft use a hand crusher and mash the mixture till its gravy like
- Add mashed potatoes and mix well to ensure that there are no lumps and let it simmer for 5 mins.
- Add corriender and squeeze half a lemon.
- And stir well.
- Serve it with Indian Bread called Pao or with any version of white bread.
