Coconut Peanut Butter Chocolate Balls

• 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 1 1/2 cups coconut flaked
• 1 1/2 cups peanuts chopped
• 1 cup butter melted
• 16 ounces powdered sugar
• 12 ounces peanut butter crunchy
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 24 ounces chocolate morsels
• 3 tablespoons vegetable shortening

1. Combine first 7 ingredients, stirring well.
2. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls.
3. Combine chocolate morsels and shortening in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.
4. Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts.
5. Dip each peanut butter ball into chocolate mixture.
6. Cool on waxed paper.
7. Makes about 4 dozen.
