Gooey Halloween Bars
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Caramels
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1-1/2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S White Chocolate (6 oz.), chopped
- 1/2 cup candy corn
- 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides.
- Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended.
- Add flour; mix well.
- Press onto bottom of prepared pan.
- Bake 12 to 14 min.
- or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly on wire rack.
- Microwave caramels and water in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
- or until caramels begin to melt.
- Stir until caramels are completely melted; spread gently over crust.
- Melt chocolate as directed on package; drizzle half over caramel.
- Sprinkle with candy corn and nuts; drizzle with remaining chocolate.
- Refrigerate 30 min.
- or until chocolate is firm.
- Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan before cutting into bars.
