Golma Fiser's Duck In A Bag Recipe
- 2 wild duck
- 1 brown gravy mix
- 1/2 c. orange or possibly plum jelly
- 1 (6 ounce.) can orange juice
- 1 c. apples, cut up
- 1 c. celery, cut up
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cooking bag
- 1/2 c. flour
- Parboil ducks till semi tender, using 1 c. celery and salt.
- Stuff ducks with apples.
- Place in roasting bag dusted with flour.
- Mix gravy, add in orange juice, thawed and jelly.
- Pour over ducks, front side up.
- Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour; open top of bag and brown ducks for 10 min.
- Use sauce over rice.
- (I remove skin after ducks are parboiled.)
