Brown Sugar Pound Cake
- 1 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 8 oz toffee chips
- 1 cup pecans (chopped)
- Preheat oven to 325f
- Spray bundt pan with cooking spray, dust with flour
- Beat butter until creamy.
- Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
- Mix in eggs, one at a time.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt
- Add dry ingredients into batter alternately with the milk.
- Beat until just combined
- Stir in toffee bits and pecans
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 85 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
- To prevent excess browning, cover cake with foil while baking
- Let cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Remove and let cool completely on a wire rack
