- 4 to 5 sticks Imitation crab stick
- 1 to 2 teaspoons Ume paste (or umeboshi plums )
- 2 tbsp Ponzu
- 2 tsp Bonito dashi stock granules
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 150 ml Water
- 1 1/2 tbsp Katakuriko
- Microwave the tofu for 1.5 minutes, and when it has cooled, drain the water.
- Shred the crab sticks (I used a packet of pre-shredded crab sticks).
- Combine the ingredients.
- Put a little sesame oil (not listed) in a frying pan.
- Put in the crab stick and stir fry quickly, and sprinkle with salt and pepper (not listed).
- Add the mixture to the pan.
- When the sauce has thickened, it's done.
- Garnish with chopped green onions or julienned shiso leaves or mitsuba to your liking.
- My kids love it served as a rice bowl.
