Manicotti Recipe
- 1 pound grnd sirloin (or possibly lean beef)
- 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 c. ricotta cheese
- 8 ounce. shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. Best Foods mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 c. zucchini, sliced
- 1 (16 ounce.) jar favorite spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 box manicotti noodles
- Parmesan, grated
- Brown meat with garlic and onion, drain and set aside.
- Saute/fry mushrooms and zucchini.
- Add in meat mix.
- In separate bowl mix ricotta cheese, mayonnaise and 4 oz mozzarella.
- Add in meat-vegetable mix, mix thoroughly.
- Stuff slightly boiled manicotti shell noodles.
- Lay in pan lined with spaghetti sauce.
- Cover with extra sauce, mozzarella and grated Parmesan.
- Cover with foil, bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
- Remove foil.
- Bake for 10 min more.
- Serves 5-6.
