Baked Caramel Corn Recipe

  1. Heat butter; stir in brown sugar, cornsyrup and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, than boil,without stirring for 5 min.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in soda and vanilla.
  4. Gradually pour over corn, mix well.
  5. Turn into two large, shallow baking pans.
  6. Bake at 250 degrees F for 1 hour, stir every 15 min.
  7. Remove from oven, cold completly.
  8. Break apart and store in tightly covered containers.
