Au Gratin redneck style (cheese & heat)

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Mince onions & slice the potatoes and mushrooms
  3. Heat butter on high
  4. Saute onions & add garlic salt, peppers, boulion/stock.
  5. Mix in mushrooms after onions are browned
  6. Turn off heat and mix in egg yolks & milk
  7. Stir sour cream & parmesean cheese into sauce
  8. In greased casarole pan layer onion sauce & potato slices
  9. Top with other cheeses then dollop more sour cream on top
  10. Sprinkle the seasoning, peppercinni & paprika on top
  11. Bake covered for 45 minutes and 15 uncovered
  12. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving
