Peanut Butter, Chocolate & Oat Bars
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, coarsely chopped
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine flour, oats and baking soda; set aside.
- Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add peanut butter, eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition.
- Press about 2/3 of the dough onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with chocolate.
- Top evenly with spoonfuls of the remaining dough; press gently to secure.
- Bake 22 to 25 min.
- or until edges are golden brown.
