Short Ribs Of Beef Recipe
- 3 lbs. short ribs of beef
- 2 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1/2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 3 tbsp. oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 med. onions, sliced
- 1/2 c. cool water
- Place short ribs in Dutch oven.
- Pour combined mustard, salt, pepper, chili pwdr, sugar, lemon juice, oil, garlic, water and a few onion slices on top of meat.
- Place in a quick oven for 1/2 hour at 400 degrees or possibly till brown.
- Add in the remaining sliced onions.
- Cover tightly.
- Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees and continue cooking till meat is tender, about 2 hrs.
