Chocolate Chess Pie
- 14 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 12 tablespoons cocoa
- 18 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 (5 1/3 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 34 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (9 inch) pie shells, unbaked
- In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, sugar, cocoa, and salt until well combined.
- Add eggs, combining well.
- Stir in milk and vanilla.
- Fold in pecans and pour into pie shell.
- Bake in preheated 450 degree oven for 45 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean.
- Cool on rack.
