Jalapeno Poppers

  1. Pop the jalapenos in a plastic bag and then into microwave oven for 2 minutes.
  2. Let cool in bag.
  3. Thaw one puff pastry sheet and cut into 12 squares.
  4. Cut the cream cheese into 12 cubes.
  5. When jalapenos are cool, remove from bag and cut in half lengthwise.
  6. Clean out seeds.
  7. Do this in well ventilated area and use gloves.
  8. Place one cube cream cheese in jalapeno half, squeezing into pepper half.
  9. Using one of the 12 squares of puff pastry, wrap around pepper and cheese covering completely.
  10. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
  11. Repeat until you have 12 poppers on baking sheet.
  12. Bake at 425F for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  13. Serve with jalapeno jelly (you can buy in any grocery store).
