Chuppachuk Brownies
- 12 cup unsalted butter
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 12 cup sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 12 cup coarsley chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sifted icing sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
- Line an 8" square pan with foil; lightly butter bottom and sides.
- Melt butter and chocolate over low heat.
- Cool 2 minutes.
- Stir in sugar and vanilla.
- Add eggs, one at a time, stirring until smooth.
- Add flour and salt; stir in nuts.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake at 350F for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Cool.
- Lift brownies from pan by foil edges and frost.
- To make icing, beat butter, vanilla, sugar and egg in a small bowl until smooth.
- Add warm chocolate and beat until smooth.
- Spread on brownies and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Peel away foil and slice.
