Blissful Banana Pie Recipe
- 1 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
- 1/4 c. minced pecans
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
- 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3 c. Kraft miniature marshmallows, divided
- 1 (3 1/4 ounce.) pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling
- 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
- 2 bananas, thinly sliced
- Combine crumbs, nuts, and butter; press into 9 inch pie plate.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 5 min and cold.
- Combine chocolate pcs, lowfat milk, and 1 c. of the marshmallows; stir over low heat till melted.
- Pour into crumb crust.
- Chill.
- Prepare pudding as directed on package, except using only 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk.
- Cover with waxed paper; chill.
- Mix in whipped cream and remaining marshmallows.
- Arrange bananas over chocolate layer; pour marshmallow mix over bananas.
- Refrigerateseveral hrs.
- Garnish with additional banana slices and dollops of whipped cream, if you like.
- Serves 6 to 8.
